Kaleela is a purebred Arabian mare that came from a loving owner that ran into hard times and decided to place her with Lucky 7 Horse Rescue. She does not have papers, but we do know who her parents are. Kaleela came to us at 15 years old and had never been ridden. She entered the BBTC, and is one of the last horses yet to be adopted. Her prior herd-mates, Castaway and Legend, were both adopted after competing in the BBTC alongside her.

Kaleela absolutely loves trail. She is perfect for someone who wants to hit the trails and see the sights. Though she is learning how to stay calm when you're on the ground, she's as cool-as-a-cucumber when you're in the saddle. Her stress comes from being alone, so as long as she has a friend with her, she's great! She has packed around kids and beginner riders on trail rides, and has no issues as long as she has a buddy.

Kaleela is currently in training to help with her buddy-sourness and she is learning to love arena riding!
